  1. Pick the grid. Choose a paper type, then a spacing from 1 mm to 2 in on Letter, A4, A5, Legal, Tabloid or A3.
  2. Download the PDF. The ready-made file downloads instantly; change any setting and the PDF is rebuilt to match.
  3. Print at 100%. Set the scale to Actual size, never Fit to page, and measure one square with a ruler to confirm.

Is the printable graph paper really free?

Yes. No account, no watermark, no download cap. Use the PDFs at home, in class or in paid client work.

How do I print graph paper at the correct scale?

In the print dialog choose Actual size or 100%, never Fit to page. Fit to page shrinks the sheet by a few percent to clear the printer's margins, which quietly turns a 5 mm grid into a 4.8 mm grid. Print one sheet and check a 10 cm span with a ruler.

Can I print graph paper with an x and y axis?

Choose the coordinate plane type. You can set the axis range, switch between one quadrant and all four, and turn the numbers along each axis on or off.

How do I get full page graph paper with no margins?

Set Margin to None. The grid then runs to the paper edge. If your printer clips the edges, use the 5 mm margin instead.

What is the difference between graph paper and grid paper?

Nothing. Graph paper is the term used in maths and science; grid paper is the everyday word for the same square-ruled sheet.

Can I make a multi-page PDF?

Set Pages to 5, 10, 20, 50 or 100 before downloading, and turn on page numbers if you want them. Handy for a print shop, a bound pad, or a set for a whole class.

Which grid should I use for a bullet journal?

Dot grid at 5 mm is the common choice. It guides handwriting and boxes without the finished page looking like a spreadsheet.

Do the PDFs work with a plotter or large format printer?

Yes. Choose A3 or Tabloid and the PDF carries the exact page dimensions, so a plotter driver has no reason to rescale it.
